To kick off our objects section, we asked Cathy Leff, director of the Wolfsonian Museum in South Beach, to present one of the exhibition’s objects. Although it was impossible to choose one object over the others, Cathy Leff decided to present a dressing table and stool that was designed by Kem Weber in 1929 - as a representation for the Museum’s cultural and social interest. The object mirrors the development of the American society through industrialization in the late 1920s.
