Hugh Magen, co-owner of the New York based Magen H gallery, has chosen a ceramic screen by Gustave Tiffoche as object of the day. The screen was constructed in 1963 and is an important piece in Tiffoche’s work since most of his other work was made on much smaller scale. 249 movable pieces are set together to a very flexible ensemble - this way, the owner of the screen can design it according to his preference, or even mood.
